Writing a Bio

…and often we publish a writer for the first time
(since life begins at fifty and anyone without a teaching degree
knows nothing of what he does)
here we go breaking the rules –reinventing- ourselves becoming
the old of what we knew
no longer will a poet need a residency
to evoke an image grander than a Collins
to become hyperlinked and to mingle with the best
we have decided to revoke our image and publish you
your dreams have come true
well-read genius man
pop another poe and swallow all you can
because now you are
a superstar
with a website and audio cassette versions
of your every masterpiece
will you do a signing
eager little beaver
salud
oh
and
our lawyers wish to inform you
we are not responsible for your demise

Hey Up Walt!!!
You have done it again.   The depth of your poetry passes way over my head.
A great read.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
John
