In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-07-16 09:29 AM

Gabriel

          In your shadows waiting-

Raven eyes- -
ghostly desires
silence lost to
pain and longing

Whispers of a chill-
     the night air    cold
you spoke to me
looking down upon my mind

Humbled   by fear--
a calling    in tremendous
echo    love knows,   no   fear
     you slipped  your tongue--
closed my eyes, softly touched my tears

bury the sage,   its time to go
  inside

        who was I too argue?
I,   weary and   tired

Alone    in mystery’s,  darkness
a feeling of comfort  --

Footprints-- my  journals long,
       spilling   my tears
for all who dare to read

     { through the darkness}

      in   distant fires
I heard small voices,

She is crying  tonight, her castle
burning    ‘does it move you’?    -‘yes’-
‘do you    love them’?    -‘yes’-

I am needed
I have given of faith
I am holy in thou name

I trembled before you,
        your   wings    mighty
your heart forgiving

I am needed

She is crying in fear
she is lost and alone
‘does that move you’?  -‘yes’-
‘do you   love them’?    -‘yes’-

I fell to my knees

      weeping

your heart forgiving
I believe in faith

you rested your palms
of wisdom upon my eyes
you will heal

you are needed       there

go    love

The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket
I lean against the wind pretend I am weightless and in this moment I am happy

"for all who dare to read"

not "dare to read" ... NEEDED to read

does it move me...yes ...
do I feel you ... yes ...
do I need you ... yes ...
Do I love you ... yes ...

whispering ...yessssss

I knew you werent going anywhere...
I still need your words too much

for all the words still unspoken ... you already know.

Lauren,
I can't say it as well as Janet Marie...so I'll echo - what she said. And welcome home.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I always knew that you could hear the voices of angels. . . now, I have proof. . .

I know that there's more. . .

Oh, Lauren, it is so very wonderful to see you back here...our family table was very quiet while you were away.  I'm so thankful that all the prayers were heard, and you are penning from your beautiful heart once again.  Much love and good thoughts coming your way, dear friend...

Open the door and let your adventure begin!!!
