You once would bring me flowers At the end of every week In return for one of my kisses That you would so eagerly seek Freesias were my favourite In the early days of Spring Delphiniums and daffodils So much joy did those blooms bring Some days you brought me roses On the days when I felt blue You filled my world with rainbows How very much I once loved you Our love continued to bloom Into a beautiful bouquet Until you rocked my world Saying you could no longer stay Now the cold winds blow around me And my vase is void of blooms This sadness overwhelms me Like a dark cloud above it looms All you left me was a note Saying you were leaving me How could I have been so blind As love forbade me to see I sit here in my solitude Wondering where our love went wrong You no longer bring me flowers How very sad now was the song * * * * * I guess I should say that this was not written from personal experience. (big hugggsssssss) Oh Sue, this is so very heartbreaking, sweet friend, I am so happy you noted this is not from your own personal experience but my heart cries out to those who do feel this way! (sad sigh) This is sadly beautiful, sweet friend, I too give you special healing hugs, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

I truly hope this is not from personal experience. It is so sad but what a great job of writing. I love the flowers you picked, especially the freesias. They are so fragrant and beautiful. I think Neil Diamond sang a song about this - 'You don't bring me flowers anymore...." boohoo!!!!!
