It was a beautiful sunset,
Against a mountain view,
Beauty uncomparable,
Romantically shared by two.

It wasn't their first encounter,
They'd loved so much before,
Each time better than the other,
Who could ask for more?

Their bodies lovingly entertwined,
Now "one" in love together,
As the sunset went down in color,
Love consumated forever.

Their commitments sealed in romance,
Their love is never ending,
A honeymoon in Paris,
A new life together beginning.

It's such a touching love song,
One that should endure,
Nothing would come between them,
Goodluck LongJohn and Balladeer.

ROFLMAO... One of these days, Long John is gonna learn that there is no safety net in waiting until you leave to post his taunts... he may disappear, but his ink remains and... unworthy as it may be... must be answered! LOL

to the end of the second line, there was a punch waiting...some ONE day, I'm going to find a seriously lovely poem from your pen...but I'll bet that's a LONG way down the road...

Now there's an old fashioned love story if ever I heard one.

Maybe old-fashioned, but it sure is good... and totally true.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

I just knew there had to be a punchline, Mr.Toe.  And I knew it had to have something to do with Longjohn and Balladeer...
But the rest was good also.

OMG - I too was duped!!!  Got all Slushy there for a moment, why not do the honest thing - version 1 for the duel, and version 2 for the romantics with a nice ending, and redeem yourself in true style!!!!
Nice one,
Kind regards,
John
