In black velvet of isolated dreams
The veil of magician’s hands
Made baby birds hatch

On a balancing act of creative spells
That absorbs the light in superimposed warmth
Obsessive noise created the hunger

In the mountain dew of Irish highlands
That the nest came to rest in unexpected pleasure
Upon a tree within a garden of May flowers

In a paradise so exquisite
That it really looked like a fairy tale
To dictate a reality check

In a white flash of a leprechauns brew
The white lightning awoke the sunlight
In birds ringing in the sunrise of headaches

You shouldn't have enjoyed yourself
so much the night before...smiling here...
