Blind Hope. I step into another gray day, sheltered by your presents Summoning my ability to "go-on", I drag these scraps of happiness from the of the corner of the room, and walk forward in blind hope. My virgin bruised heart musters what dignity remains. Not a vestige of truth is allowed, nor faith in better days; In reverence I'm draped in your smile clenching these treasured memories. Am I provoked by those happy times, when I knew I loved you, and you loved me. |

Nice writing! I like the way it moves forward with hope for something, but expecting nothing. |

I definitely agree with Kris, Daniel... It is very nicely done and I like the way it leaves the door open for future hope. ~ poetic hugs Lyra |
