A Simple Rose I asked for a rose It was a simple task Yet you forgot of what i asked You didnt seem to notice my tears You forgot I too had my own fears Fate had delt me an unfair hand Yet I knew in my heart you would always be my man You were the only one I knew, how could I forget you I asked for a simple task I asked for only a kiss to let me know it would last Your kiss you gave with tender care You said you were sorry That it wasnt to late, you changed fate I asked for a rose It was simple task You met that task and at last Created your own fate You proved its never too late |
