I Dreamed of
Me and You

Do you think me a fool
for sharing romantic
thoughts of me and you?
Did I dream of romantic
possibilities that to you
may seem too far fetched
to become true?

Do not let the high expectations
of my dreams drive you away from me.
For in the world of reality I am
prepared to accept the truth and
believe what will be will be.

And in the passage of time if I find
that my dreams have failed to come true.
I will seek out new dreams to take me
to special places where dreams can
find a way to come true.

not an easy thing to do..to dare to dream but not to lose touch with reality...but you have done this remarkably well...i admire you
