A Mother’s Skin don’t touch me right now I’m just too tender to feel my skin has evaporated from my body exposing an open heart a mother’s skin in peal paralyzed I sit frozen in warm salty tears bloodied drips of love an exposed mothers cry here searching myself for every good AND mistake made here to question why so here I am in answered palms of empty way tired past exhaust and searching myself of how I loved and taught life risking your heart a mothers job at high cost and was it just nagging words (that you heard) I had to say things to be so different for you and with your heart I tried to steer a different way how I wish I could make things disappear make everything change yet I know I wish in vain if I could I would bear your hurts ( I ) would bear your pain [This message has been edited by 1slick_lady (07-13-2002 04:51 PM).] |
