It does make a difference how we speak
When we leave out a gender
We leave out real people
So many important ideas and things
Are all associated with men – I could scream
God, founding countries and movements, power and strength
All assumed to be male – it doesn’t matter we say
Or duck the real issues with “political correctness” escapes
Here’s how it matters in my point of view
Little girls grow up thinking only males can be
Strong – powerful – or as discoverers
All inclusive terms we use say males are the best
I just want to shout to all who will hear
It matters – it matters – just what we all hear
If it really doesn’t matter then here is a thought
Let’s let god be a she – let’s let founding mothers arise
Let’s say she, and her
Instead of he and him
As we speak inclusively
I have said this to many and guess what I have found
It really does matter to those who feel bound
To protect male dominance all over and around
Well thanks for listening to this cry for a change
Just think of the consequences the next time you start to say…
And think that it matter how we speak always

Paul darling boy and writer of supreme wisdom, have you any idea how spectacular this poem is? No probably not since you entirely lack conceit, then let me tell you darling heart it is awesome, and no I am not just saying that. Naturally the rhythm is perfect and the flow is utterly utterly spot on. This is simply perfect and I love it.

You really shouldn’t get me started on the Women’s Movement as opposed to Feminists, because once started I would not stop. Okay I promise I will not give you a speech about why it is important to promote positive gender role models But this is a wonderful piece of writing and I thank you for it

Perfect writing darling heart absolutely perfect

Happy Birthday

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

YAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET PAUL, I LOVE IT, NOW BLOW OUT YOUR CANDLES AND MAKE A WISH!!! (BIG HUGGGSSSSSS) This is a wonderful view of wisdom, sweet friend, yes, every action has a reaction and we must think before we respond, for our relations to one another is critical! (smiles) May this day be filled with happy birthday wishes and smiles, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I really enjoyed this poem, Paul and I agree with you about the gender issue.
Personally, I think God is a woman because only a woman could get a world to run so smoothly in spite of all of the evil elements.
~ happy birthday hugs
