The Butterfly  You remain in the midst of yesterday clinging to that which gives you peace at times timid in facing the future fearing life's sweet release. Softly your voice is calling touching the strings of heart missing those that you love but yet never to be apart. Behind a beautiful smile lies within so much pain look closely, see the trace of tears that have softly fallen like the rain. I watch you growing every day gaining strength, ready for flight You've reached inside yourself and you shine from inner light. Do not be afraid for you will learn to fly.... we all must live in the cocoon before we can become~ the butterfly. (It is no secret that Lauren is a VERY special friend to me....I remember how this lifted her the first time she saw it... how much it meant to her.... may our prayers, our thoughts lift her again.... please my friends..... PRAY Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal. {on the wings of words are spirits fly...and our souls are free~me} [This message has been edited by Sunshine (07-13-2002 09:48 AM).] |

Thank you for this repost Donna... its perfect ... Lauren and I made a "butterfly connection" thru our poetry...we both had lost someone special and found healing and quiet comfort in each others words and understanding. She has become dear to me... my heart hurts this morning with this news... We were just celebrating her joy of finding her family ... this is just unacceptable. prayers for Lauren all who love her.. |

She is indeed a butterfly as is the poetess that penned this beauty. I can see how it lifted her in the first place and it is the perfect piece to describe her.
