These words of love I write Stand so proudly on the page They speak of a love so timeless Something from a by gone age Images of knights in armour Helping maidens in distress The touch of a velvet hand Memories of that first caress A different place in time In the days when love was grand A lover serenaded on a balcony As two hearts take full command Stolen kisses beneath the moonlight The fragrant smell of honey dew The whispers in the wind As my heart calls out to you Some dream of a love so perfect But I need dream no more For I am so lucky to have found The love I was searching for I am in motion |

Sue, A gentle bump for a lovely poem. Thanks once again. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
