I remember when I turned 21 I was like lets go get some Beer, Margaritas or something At 21 I was still single and free This was the life for me I wanted to see everything Travel Do whatever By the end of my 21st year I was lonely And in dispair Thought I would be alone This is what my 21st year was like A emotional rollercoaster of life Cold hands means a warm heart |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Julie, though I am only 18 and have yet to reach that milestone, I understand that it must be a big step and I hope now you have found all you have desired and am not that lonely anymore! (sigh) This is a powerful introspective poem, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Nice poem...full of meaning and truth, Julie. Most of us go through times like that...you don't have to be 21 to live a roller coaster life... but its harder at 21, than it is when you're older. I think that life gets better as we age... We complain about our wrinkles but I don't think anyone ever wants to go back to being young again. ~ hang in there hugs Lyra |
