I know… I had an other poem in mind
with some kind of splendour
but when you suffer like I do
writing will be poor

The rhyming is bad
and the lines don’t make much sense
but I hope you all forgive me
my headache is real intense

Also my back is aching
and my lips are sore
while my body is fighting
this small bacterial war

No more delay…I have to write this
with a voice so hoarse
but I try to do it… even now
very “colourful” of course

“With a skin white as a sheet
while I’m feeling blue
and my nose turned red
with symptoms of… the flue!”

So these are my words today...
my mission is fulfilled
and believe me… about this poem
I am not so very thrilled

But I think I deserve some mercy
for these lines so bad
so readers… please excuse me
I go back to bed…

(sigh) Oh Neeraja, I'm so sorry you got sick, sweet friend, I hope you get well soon as I always love the beautiful words you write! Rx...

a bubble bath, some fuzzy slippers, a fresh box of crayons, and a brand new Scooby Doo coloring book! Some Marx Bros. movies--chicken soup and a warm hug...poor baby. Feel better soon!

To add to Serenity's RX.....
a nice fluffy comforter, a facial steamer with some of that stinky Vicks menthol stuff in it.
Your feet propped up and lots of chocolate
