blurry eyed kids sit in a cold kitchen young and skinny with tired eyes locked on a still clock watching their breath drift from their nostrils cuddled together peering at the door praying for a shifting knob and a mother to step through the door with a bag of groceries and some love they haven't eaten in days and there is no hot water they sleep on a single mattress curled together for the warmth forgotten by their mother abandoned by the world "prisonerz of circumstance" and still we dwell on our problems when these children may not survive to have their own Tai |

I didn't enjoy reading this, but it was written very well, and the image is vivid. I just wish it wasn't an image of a true thing, that happens all over the nation. Nan |

(tears fall down my cheeks) This is so very heartbreaking, sweet friend, my heart goes out to all the children of the world who don't get the love and attention they need, this is powerfully heartaching! (sigh) My thoughts go out to them all, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet LilTai, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! rough and edgy...the style reflects the content....great job. and the message is all too true. it's our struggle for identity that leaves us all unknown |
