Dawn arrives

The smell of you smothers me
Sheets covering smoothness beside
Lost to a dream

Loving you, birth of my life’s universe
Beneath the stars basking at moon’s set
Whispers fall on my mind’s ear
I hear your call

Come my love, life of heart
Ride the winds of my passion
Fly into Heaven’s light
Soar

Softness of the lightest kiss lingering
Shudders of anticipation strong
Memories of moments remembered
Blood boils to the touch
of you.

For thine art my heart and soul
blended eternal dreams in stroll
Lasting mome’ of one’s hot fire
fueled by the mind’s only desire
