The Searcher

Smiles, winks
A hint of touch
A hint..
    Just a hint

Diversions …
     Detours…
  Detours…
But always, the race.

The dawn…
  Too often
    Too often
My exit, too often the dawn.

You.. Love
   Her… them,
   Sweet… so sweet
    Now, now … gone.

Focus, blurred
Moment’s… just moments
Swift, so swift…
  Brightness, just fades…

And love? sought… not found
For this… for I
The searcher
Tireless… and bound.

There is Light and Flight at the end of the tunnel.
We're just not sure where that end is...
The Searcher must forge on to find it....

Parker, I like this!  A hint of question
behind each word, a repeat, rethink, of
something just within one's grasp, only
to find the fog...

I like this Very Much!

Still searching....
what? you lost the map to the arch?

P-man the longing and sincerety of this is as lovely as the phrasing and the creative poetic form...
This is a bittersweet beauty.
So good to see thy muse returns ...
So...know any new detours
would pedestals fall under the idea of diversions? LOL

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much ...
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch.

Its good to see your work here again.

Enjoyed this because it seemed to grasp in desperation. Hope I didn't read it wrong.

I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement.

Sheri, thank you... I shall always forge on.

Sunshine, thanks it always seems to just be beyond that grasp. But I do love to grasp.

Janet, yes whenever I get lost I just look for a big landmark of some arch. What a detour it may be.

Temptress, thank you... my muse has been quiet for too long.. I guess its just looking for that first Kiss again.

the_loner_23, thank you for responding.

Seymour, not sure what your meaning. But I hope I'm not dropping any unwanted presents.

Noah, as always thank you.

devina, thank you... i'll have to peek in on you and see what wenching activities your up to. All bad no doubt.

Hi Parker...so good to see you!  You know this felt so full of movement that I wanted to tell you to stop...let love find you.  I understand the search though, you wrote it well.

As long as you are bound to that search then you will find it's rewards when the time is right.  Very beautiful illustration of the longing in this creation of yours.  Your format was very much enjoyed and the way you structured it to read as a self pondering was a treat divine.  Excellent to read you again.
btw ... (Don't let the glare of sun from the arch lead you down any paths filled with "BUG LIGHTS!) LOL

Corinne, thank you... you know what they say... a vacuum demands to be filled.

coco, thank you so much.

Mark, I'll bring sunglasses to the arch just in case.

Each line of this piece reflects well the longing and sense that there is someone out there just made for you.  Those with the sincerest of hearts will always find what they're looking for ... the search is one of the hardest things, but the end reward is definitely worth the wait.  Thanks for sharing this one.

Parker this is incredible writing.  I believe we all search and when we find what we so desire.....the search is well worth the journey.  Enjoyed this much.  Hugs.

Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal.

parker..this is different..for you..

i like it..
-----------------------------------
search...
seek well today...
for some tomorrow holds
a promise
of
reward...
what reward
remains to be seen...
what is it you seek--
exactly?
dont expect it;
that what you seek
will come in
a package you'll not
be looking for...
your rewards will be
a surprise...
open your mind--stay focused
but leave your pictures at bay...
desire for love with flaws
(for even love has flaws)
and you may find your true
perfection....

-dgv

dunno..just an impromptu...lol

love is around the corner my friend...it always is..just waiting for the right moment to touch you...

thank you sweets..

I stole that style from you.

I love your response poem.... I don't want to wait anymore I might miss someone

"they say love comes
     to those who wait...
ometimes love goes
     from those who hesitate..."

a very smart poet wrote that.
