Observation of Balladeer The Visit I saw him squint a southern view A sly smile a twitch full of know He tapped his foot and that the clue Mischief filled his mind, poor toe. No need to jot notes on paper He has a photographic mind In that mind he wrote a caper And put in passions a muse of find. He works in eccentricity Cartoonist that accentuates The floors of our audacity By comic points of punctuates And he follows no laws of taste But puts them plain as you can see To him the laws would be a waste. No matter who of you or me He is a grind of peppers mill And sometimes over does the spill. |

I think the room was blessed with an abundance of poetic talent...and friendship...love the comraderie and humor in this Sy-babes. I'm sure you and Michael inspire each other in many ways. Both are exceptional poets in your own right (write).   |
