A Secret Place

There is a secret place where I go
Where a luminous light encircles me
Free from the fear and the pain
Everything is pseudo; reaching out to me

My suppressed mind
Inaugurates me through time
To rejoin my past once again
And remember myself back then

I enter an précis state of mind
Ultimately leaving the world behind
Forget about reality; forget about time
Watch my entire life unwind

A place to rewind; a place to reflect
Watch my life playback, and intersect
My conscience escapes me
As I watch my past come into affect

There is a secret place where I go
To forget about the pressures of life
Shut the doors on time...
And open up my mind
