standing on a shadow's lace

Finger Painted Ache

today
it became
as heavy as
it can get
I heard
his whisper
to me of
his ache
at sunset

and it
echoed me
of an ache
of my own
in the brightest
of tints
gray
without him
where before
he painted me
slowly
in his
fingerprints

soon
he will be
next to me
erasing
this ache
we feel
brushing me
in rainbow colors
to make
this canvas
real

This poem is great, I can relate and yes I think everyone feels like they are being painted onto a canvas every once in awhile
