I got the goose bump blues My honey has flown the coop My heart has quit singing Feeling so hurt That the doldrums are hitting the blues In high needs in low moaning words Sighing in a cold shower chills Baby I got the goose bump blues Why is it that I feel so cold When it is steaming hot outside Oh baby, I got to shake this cold My fever for you sweats In notes so deep you still vibrate This body’s memory Shaking me in the rhythm Of a country needing a woman blues So music inside me Bring back my goose bump blues Baby my words perspire for you In pictures my tears rain in needs Oh baby, storm back into my life Let me electrify you with my static being Raising such bumps of my love That will raise your deepest excitement Let me circle you in the words That shower rose pedals Over a honey that is mine Sad, sad song cut me deeper than possible Wounded needs in goose bump blues Baby, I need your surgery For I need you operating on me In that special way you create miracles In magic touches so sensual That makes a man get proud Being captured in the melody of love Sending his temperature in all the extremes In all the dimensions of needing you more blues Oh baby, I love you in every breath You are away from me For I now realize You needed time away from me So I would realize I got the blues for you So baby come home I have a special present Oh voices of mine Sing my song of needs My baby needs me Let the magic begin My song is perspiring, Perspiring so hot The heat will rise in the temperature Of the chill of needing you Riding our roller coaster Singing our goose bump blues A song so special that nature Will send her storms shaking The blues all night long Email me if at davelyoung1@hotmail.com D.Lester Young (07/05/02) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) |

I'll sing it if you play it--let's get this place rolling--a lil bump and grind maybe? "Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!" Wonderful...I hear heavy bass, intermittent lead of electric guitar and harmonica... damn---time's a-wastin' LET'S GO!!! |
