Clouds Rain clouds shroud and gray my mind They reign within the mirrors glass A spider’s sanguine web of kind That chains me in its sticky mass Bound by thoughts of memories tie Merry-go-round the rays of sun Where flowers bloom of lily lies A vine matured of youthful fun Roots grown down to waters level Making rough and tough the vine Deep enough to hear the devil And make it grow a nasty spine. Spines rain down my head within Bringing reign of sorrows pain What once was fun has grown to sin And draws the blood of sound and sane. Be opine what you groom and plant Some vines may bloom to disenchant. |

I know I got into some wine from a vine that made me very disenchanting but I hungover it till it passed. This is delightful Sy.....Always look forward to reading your daily when I get the chance (not working) "Roots grown down to waters level Making rough and tough the vine Deep enough to hear the devil And make it grow a nasty spine." I didn't know you knew my ex! The devil came to me once and said "I can make trouble for you, BIG TIME!" I said, "I know!" He said, 'aren't you afraid?" I replied, "uumm NO!" "Why?" he asked. "Well," I said, "I been married to your sister for fifteen years!" |

Sy, this was not a nasty pine, whine or spine but it did have backbone and character. Keth Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Be opine what you groom and plant Some vines may bloom to disenchant. ====================================== They reign within the mirrors glass A spider's sanguine web of kind Could those lines be any cooler?? I've said it before ... I'll say it again ... there is magic in your pen. Every verse a seed of wisdom's vine ... You're like fine wine ... you get better with time. *winkiewinkie* We wish ourselves beautiful ... and cry in the night. |

JM, You are throwing rose petals again and Randy is dancing in the middle of them. Haven't forgotten the CD's my daughter was away and now she is busy, it's just a matter of time. I hope all is well I'll try and write you tonight. WWRS |

This has evocative images. I liked the rain/reign thing, too, and the construction is faultless. Altogether a great poem. Nan |

(big hugggsssssss) Awwwwwww, I understand this kind of nostalgia so well, sweet friend, whenever I cloudgaze and see shapes that seem so familiar to me I too reflect on so many memories and it is miraculous to me how clouds can do such that! (sigh) This is very well said, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Seymour darling boy this is absolutely utterly perfect again you’ve been imbibing wisdom and truth, and the result is always special. You always manage to cloak my soul in an aura of delight. Your words fall like moonlit shadows that grace the ground with silvered light. This is purely an amazing write again by you. I love it utterly utterly, YOU never cease to amaze me and always I value your writing. You can tell can’t you, drat I wonder what gives me away It must be my delicate hint of I love this utterly utterly that does it, hmmmmm? Love and warm stuff As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire |
