My Life My Love

I know of desire.
I know that some are
not worthy of trust.
I know that people use people
to satisfy their lust.

I know you can
never outlive a lie.
I know that you cannot make
another love you no matter
how hard you try.
I know that sometimes memories are
all we have left after a sad goodbye.

But what I really want to know
is will love perform for her and I.
Yes I want to know that the
power of love will get us by.

For I can not bear to see selfish
reasons cause my love for her to fall.
My life my love I give to her.
For love I will give my all.
