Waiting I’ve watered these sheets too often With tears of sorrows regret I’ve spent nights Awaiting your call to arms Waiting with softened lights Music gently soothing the air Wine and candlelight For you to arrive And still waited long past The time you would leave I’ve watched so many, Too many Candles flicker out Watched them alone ……… Waiting Heard the music from Far too many CD’s end Spinning into nothingness And that is what this is A nothingness So take your half lived love Wrap it in your bathrobe That you kept here so You wouldn’t smell of me Take your half promise Of more than a fragment Of your love And place it back with The fragments of you That lives with someone else I realised something just then As I watched another Night fall into dawn Another heart’s promise Break into shards I realised that you are Betraying me more than her And that isn’t what I want I never did. I deserve more Much more I don’t know how it came to this How I’ve come to the point Where love rents out a room For an hour or so Where less isn’t more It’s less than enough You ask that I give you time I’ve given you too much time Time that has shown me You like this half-life half love But I don’t So I’m not half existing Half dying anymore ………Goodbye Krissy And while thy willing soul transpiers |

This is a wonderfully written goodbye to one that doesn't deserve such thoughtfulness. (A short "I can't waste my time on this" would have sufficed.) Now... Go live your own life, on your own terms, and let it all come to you. Did I mention that this was wonderful? ~wranx "Writing is a perfectly natural thing to do...provided it's done in private and you wash your hands afterward"....Heinlein. |

Krissy, if this was real I would be crying my eyes out for you right now, instead I say 'real' poetry. Keth Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

(big huggssssssss) Oh Krissy, this is soooooo heartbreaking, sweet friend, I'm so sorry you were treated so unfairly and while it may seem so hard now, I know that true love awaits you very soon and it will come to you! (sigh) My thoughts are with you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Krissy, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
