Fingering the shadows turned to face me head on my mind goes soft like the sand between my feet. As if in a dream fast forwarding and unable to move enveloped in the fog with each wave rushing over, above and beyond. There is so much I want to say before the tide washes out and reality sets in double parked so that I can get to you quickly peeking through the shades unlocking the door. I glow in the aftermath of my dreams holding tight to the blanket forever keeping me warm sleepy eyed, wrapped around my pillow held within a quiet emptiness that never leaves me lonely. The comfort I lack replaced by your touch keeping me close moving the tides washing in and back out. I remember you clearly in every one of my dreams as mismatched as we are I would never replace them or the passion I relish for it is there where my love is content bathing in the blue of cool water~ [This message has been edited by BluesSerenade (07-02-2002 03:35 AM).] |

I love the beach...and love the use of "tides washing out". This was a smooth read, and leaves me with a feeling of calm. ~SM |
