In the Pale of You Fairy tales are all the same, ending always without my name. I gained myself in guise of you and treasured dreams beyond nights view. A song of love, would morning rise when glimpsed upon, by soul blue eyes. How deep am I, escaped in love somewhere beyond the reigns above, that shower me in deja vu. Sometimes you know, I want for you. You've held my heart in hands of strong, caressed it whence the need not long. Behind my sorrow, a fault that seeps for silence reigns, and mysting weeps through window of, that far beyond is out of reach, cannot be found. Apart and somber, that sound of tone that judges why I am all alone. I've run too hard to get nowhere, but long to linger, those words to share. In rhyme I poet, in real I am mere destined to be forever sheer, in face of other, without a name as cupid's mark has not my aim. But I believe in what's to be for locked away inside of me are all my tomorrows, scattered in seed within, awaiting a heart to feed. For I have love enough for two, a shadow waiting, in the pale of you. Maureen "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Maureen darling heart this is as always superb writing from you. This delight you’ve spun into a net of rainbows you know exactly how to capture thought this is truly awesome. This is spectacular writing. Writing that takes you into the very heart of it and holds you captured and spell bound until the last word. Writing such as this is too fine, too rare to be tossed aside carelessly, or read too quickly in haste. Writing such as this must be allowed to sink into the soul of the reader and settle like a mantle over the spirit. You know I love this utterly utterly it is exquisite writing absolutely exquisite Love and warm stuff As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire |

this romance prances on darkened whim never revealed, for it dwells within seeing as hawks with a smile so thin it's deja vu, all over again a shadow dweller in the shaded dim it ends exactly where others begin but it worships a lover, a soul twin and waits for the light to reveal once again (i love the synchronicity of us posting at the same time, Maureen. Stuffing myself with a mammoth pot pie and smiling at the wonderful wording that never pales: yours, M.) Jeff |

Maureen this has got to be one of your best writes, or certainly in the top five anyway, the language usage is wonderful and the form and rhyme cannot be bettered. how do you get your flow as smooth and as perfect as that? It is wonderful, really excellent writing, It is true mum did tell me to look out for this poem but I believe I’d have unearthed this gem anyway. Well written and lovely to read. Thank you for the gift of it Love and warm stuff As always Krissy And while thy willing soul transpiers |
