Our voices melted together
beneath moonlit breezes and perfect summer skies.
We witness the first lights of amazement
in eyes so thirst ridden for a drink of love.
Our eyes glazed over a glass of watered down tea
and tried not to focus on the fizz of passion
that was too heavy to carry out the restaurant door.
And so we made it to the parking lot
before another embrace clenched our attentions.
We were the blush of perfect moments
against the dawn of beginnings
and we were beautiful on each others arms.

Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion.
