A nice little song I think -- Written about those sorrowful blues caused by love. When I first met you baby, you were so sweet, I couldn't believe it, swept me clean off my feet, You'd do anything I asked, you know I loved you, oh yeah, I loved you. But no more, no love from you. We went our ways, you to your sister and I astray, sent this lone pup out to play, these days just not so sweet, that sweet candy flavour I can't repeat. So sweet, baby, yesterday's baby, feels like I'm doin time, without my sweet baby. Thats right, Yesterday's baby, but Today still has you in his skies. I didn't know how to do it, it was all so damn hard, this yesterdays baby, feels like she just kept playing my cards. Please, I don't want to be yesterday's baby. You know how good it felt, how much we cried. At least you were my baby, at least we had a try. But I'm tired of this sorrowful moment, feel I'm stuck on replay, gotta get over this yesterday's baby blues, gotta make tomorrow's baby, today's. Ohh yeah, 'cause without your sweet love baby, I'm gonna decay, I need your candy taste, its all a waste, without you, sweet sweet baby. |
