An Angel Cries for Me (For Mum)
An Angel cries for me from her vista far above

She cries for my body, the pain, the loss of blood

She cries for a child, motherless again

She cries for the endings, that leaves the survivors souls bleeding.

She knows now all she was told was true

The gifts of the summerlands so numerous, not too few

The light, the love, the feeling of belonging

No more her soul screams with some ancient longing.

But still my angel cries for us

Knowing the lonliness and pain we face each day

She wishes there was more she could do

To take our pain away.

We long for more than tears and she does too

Just another day or maybe two

One more hug, one more I love you

But we can't have those things no matter what we do.

So she'll continue to cry as she watches her family wipe their eyes

She cannot wipe their tears away, as she always did before

Instead she wraps us in her gossamer wings of love

And for a brief moment we feel the touch of our Angel up above....

Thanks guys for remembering me~!

I am well enough but lost Mum a year ago, and as you can see by the poem, I'm still upset about it..
