Select any famous poem written by any famous poet

Take the first line of that poem and carry on the poem with your own poetic ideas

Post it open poetry #37 titled "Famous poem"

Anyone upto the Challenge?

Sounds great.  I just might give this a go, but I'm also willing to offer my services in the form of giving suggestions to people for famous first lines.

Hey, instead of "famous poet challenge," how about "famous first words?"  Just an idea.

I'll be following this challenge.

I probably should have relied to this yesterday, however I took your challenge and found it to be quite interesting. My posts fell as quickly as I expected them to, however it got me out of the slump I had been in.
Thanks for the challenge.
