Here are a couple of exercises you might want to try : -write with each word in the sense of the alphabet i.e a blue cat dragged eddie for.... etc -write a poem with every letter of the alphabet -write a poem of 24 syllables exactly -write about a colour -try writting 10 lines in iambic pentameter about a mundane object -experiment writting backwards or as you'd pronounce the words literally -write a poem with no repeating words -write about somebody from these boards but let us guess who it is -write about an object but disguise it so much that we must guess what it is. -write a poem using these words : perpendicular, bloom, egg, broom, disillusion, liberty, mobile, fairy. choose one or try all of them...go for it, be crazy! "more than yesterday, less than tomorrow, i love you" |

She's formed a fence perpendicular lines of rainbow skittles, broken angel wings, dusty books, forgotten thoughts, her garden, fit to bloom whenever you arrive. There is a fairy tale for her waiting at the bottom of the well, about a goose that laid an egg, a poisoned apple, a journey to the sea and she is fit to live in disillusion, sweep her mind as though it was simply dust for your broom, her world is constant, mobile, changing, looking to live in liberty. so, how was that for spur of the moment? |
