im now reading a poetry book entitled "if people are cats"... you got it right..my challenge now(if you choose to take it up) is to write a poem with that line as your theme... after you finish it, be sure to post it in the Corner Pub..its a more slow-paced forum and i sure dont want to miss anything...  |

I know this is the wrong place to post, but it's just a silly something anyhow: If people were cats they wouldn't have knees They'd all be Egyptian and eat the Chinese They'd call upon Bast to see to their needs and then they'd impose a tax upon fleas. If people were cats there would be no rat race and dogs would wear saddles and parrots say "grace" before lying down sacrificed on a plate, and Morris the Cat would be head of state. If people were furry and fingernails claws Grauman's would be fulla cemented paws whiskerless faces would be a faux pas-- electrolysis reserved for outlaws! If people were cats we'd need to get "fixed"- instead of one baby, we'd have at least six! Thanksgiving yams would be tuna fish. And beaches? Forget 'em! They'd be full of "it". For you, my friend!  |
