He slapped her. He's dead flowing blood that's red and that's swell 'cause he's in Hell. Lapping fire! I so admire Revenge to singe ev'ry single hair burning flesh in air. Joyfully slowly painfully eternlly. He slapped her. He's dead. it's never a good thing to be hit, I know. and it isn't a good thing to relish someone's pain, no matter how you justify their worthiness of it. |

I agree, Susan. And I believe that for a man to slap a woman or a child is unforgivable. ((Susan)) -newell Sharing God's Love through perfectlovepoetry.com |

I would like to shed some light on what forgiveness is about. I think it is more closure for the victim of that violent behaviour than for the perpetrator. My step-father hit me often... and for no good reason.... his parents and their parents before all were caught in this downward spiral. And he didn't speak to his father for 30 years.... till one day, they made their peace, about a year before his father passed away. And in that short time, he came to me asking my forgiveness of his past mistakes, and challenging me to be a stronger and less violent person with my own son. Forgiveness is one of God's gifts to us, we MUST pass it around. After all, we only gain what we freely give. Love, Light and Peace, Sherry Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. But above all... be kind to yourself today. Hi Sherry, Please understand that this is not about my hating anyone. And I don't care if men abuse men or how men sin against each other. But I am deeply hurt when a man abuses a woman or a child. And it is deep sadness, actually a fear of God's wrath for the abuser. I am a man and understand The Spirit of Man and I believe that women have no way of truly understanding men. As I believe that men have no way of truly understanding women. And only women can truly understand children. The Spirit of Man has been disconnected from God although God, through Christ is calling man back, man for the most part is still disconnected making wars and ravaging the earth. I for one have chosen to reconnect to God with all of my heart, mind and soul as Christ taught. So I totally agree with you about forgiveness. I believe that in the Spirit of Christ it is wonderful when victims do forgive. And there is nothing as pure as a forgiving heart. But I do believe that there are natural consequences in God's Justice and women and children are very special in God's eyes. And God does not treat everyone the same way. Abraham, David and Solomon and many men were treated specially on earth. And I believe that women and children are special in God's eyes, although they have been, and are being placed in man's bondage under man's evil control. But with the help of Christ's teaching, women are slowly being released from man's evil bondage. And with the love of Christ, man is being taught by women through words, just as you posted in your comment to me. Thank you! You are doing God's Will. So this poem is about warning abusers of natural consequences of spiritual manifestations when men abuse women and children, who are special in God's eyes and mine. The poem was inspired by a poem on another site where a poet was bragging about joyfully slapping his woman. And I wanted to try to reflect in the mirror of man's own thinking the seriousness of abusing women and children. And I do believe that woman does not think as man does, and would likely not understand my message, here. I honestly believe that women are chosen of God to teach love as you are teaching me. And children are special gifts of love. And both deserve an elevated respect. So, I believe that men have special responsibilities to protect women and children. And I believe that true abuse of a woman or child by a man may be an unpardonable sin. It may be a sin against the Holy Spirit within a woman and may be an unpardonable sin as taught by Christ! Think about it. As Christ said, forgive them Father, for the know not they do. But what if a woman will not forgive man as you did? Man must be warned! And so, these thoughts that I write are simply written as warnings to abusers in their own language. The language of The Spirit of Man. Thanks for reading. I'm sorry if I caused you any discomfort. Being raised in the south I was taught that there was never a justification for striking a female.Abuseing females was a sure act of un-manlyness. paladin |

Thank you, floria. Glad to have you back. I've missed you, too. Thanks for reading. It was meant to sting. Prevention is far better than cure. Boys and men take notice. There are people out there who think this way. And with good reason. ((floria)) -newell Sharing God's Love through perfectlovepoetry.com |

(tears fall down my cheeks) This is soooooo heartbreaking, sweet friend, I find it despicable and cruel how some men can treat women and children like this and I too agree that it is an unforgivable act to abuse like that. (sad sigh) I can only pray that in the future those many men can learn from their mistakes and compassionately settle their differences without any acts of violence! (sigh) This is sooooooo powerfully and eloquently said, sweet friend, we all love you so much, my thoughts are bwith all the victims of this abuse! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Newell, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
