And with you, Lori, I want to be sad, trembling in the dark. But in your arms, looking up at your eyes, soft green little lights drawing me to you (now sweet subtle blue), I know I will be alright. And joy, a passing ghost, will flutter in and say: So you shall be. I without you will no longer be; In our new bed can I look upon thee, taste a handy kiss, a smile or wish and praise those shining eyes. Lori-Anne, if ever there were love and praise I give them now to you. And if there ever be something we cannot know we shall learn together -- how we will grow. My dear girl, then to always know the meaning of I love you. |

This is just great!!! Considering I go by the name of Lori and my middle name is Anne~ not so sweet or subtle in my shades of blue mind you!! And the fact that I live just a few exits north off the 101! Stranger things have happened!!! I think there is a message here when it comes to reading between the lines which I'm guilty of doing a time or two! Ahem!!! Life is full of surprises and lessons to be learned! With that said, I want to say I've enjoyed reading your poetry and this is no exception. I'm keeping a low profile of late living out my real life drama! It's just one fool thang after another!!
