Voiceless wind
Through midnight trees
gifting moment
of reprieve
a still of ache
pausing grieve
a second to
just believe
a momentary
lapse from pain
a deeper breath
to regain
composure of
self once more
meditate
on inner shore
a soul cleansing
much needed sigh
just enough
for tears to dry
