I haven't written any poem Of little Hannah for a while. I wonder why? She oozes song From her little feet to her smile. She's fifteen months old now you know, And each day is growing sweeter. She smiles and welcomes me with "Hi", And a kiss, if I entreat her. She has already known tragedy, But is blessedly unaware. Black trouble in her perfect world Is just too terribly unfair. When Daddy held her close she was As safe as any child could be. Hannah's still in her little nest But her daddy's not there to see. Sometimes when she's in Mommy's arms, Looking up at the starry sky, Hannah smiles her endearing smile And calls out to her daddy, "Hi". Tears came down my cheeks when I read this beautiful tribute. So much strength and so much love in the creation of one so young. ThisDiamond |

Joyce~ How lovely to see you bring Hannah to visit us in open~ I'm sure she's as lovely and sweet as you've portrayed her~ Knowing the tragedy of the loss of her father, just breaks our hearts too~ *HUGS* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Joyce, I'm so sorry for the sorrow that has come into your lives... how horribly, heartbreakingly unfair. But I know Hannah faces life with an abundance of love... and I know you'll all help her know and remember the Daddy who had to leave too soon. This is beautiful. |
