Stillness The late moon rises full behind me through ancient pines while an expansion of quietness fills the air The barred owl's distant call insists and his intent is clear The bay suddenly shrinks to within my grasp Now I am here and I am there as well I wonder if he hears my breathing ©04.22.02 |
