I spend my nights alone Creating my world My fantasy I have a wonderful gadget That can change tears To frost Each time my worlds become Even more fantastic More amazing It pains me to know my world Melts away because I exist And every time it melts away The flood of tears Grows deeper Then I gather up my tears Only to return and Create again It is impossible for me to stop Creating my dreams In frost So I simply hold onto hope That it doesn't break, My heart |

Maverick Wolf, this was a disturbing poem, for I know that tears turned to frost can freeze the heart and chill the spirit. *hugs* if the experience is real for you. Congratulations if it is poetry only, for it is excellent, capturing the sense of desolation after loss. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Very interesting write. Enjoyed. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |
