~My Chance~ you've always meant so much to me I cherish our friendship that was meant to be you're always there for me to catch my fall you know who i am...not parts, but all you're there to dry my tears erasing and subsiding all fears when i need a hand to hold, you extend yours out you are my best friend, without a doubt a word from you today made me stop and smile left me to ponder for just a little while we hadn't talked in some time, i've missed you you're always there to help me through now it's my time though, to be the rock you need in me you'll find no better friend indeed let me return the love you've always shown me the pain in your heart I promise to break free you and i have been friends for so long you've been the one always there all along we've shared so many memories, where to start? every single one saved forever in my heart all these words i say are true not a day goes by that i don't miss you i know the day will come when you'll get your angel wings my heart will rejoice as the heavens will sing forgive me if i stop and stare i was just a little unprepared for it's you that always shows me your soul now i finally get my chance to help you become whole "you can't stop the rain from pouring down can't stop the world from turning 'round can't stop me from loving you no matter what you do" [This message has been edited by Aimster (04-18-2002 01:15 AM).] |

Amy~ How fortunate you both are to share the bond and forge a lasting friendship. I think it becomes all the more meaningful when we can pick up where we left off. This gives meaning to the fact that some things never change. Wonderfully done and heartfelt. |

Amy darling lil sis of my heart I think this is utterly utterly spectacular. This a truly outstandingly fabulous poem. Such simple words, combined in perfection in your marvellous and utterly unique way.
