I didn’t know her But she smiled and ordered me a drink Then turned to talk to a friend While glancing my way as if to include me In the conversation she was having Or perhaps wanting me to know The things she said. Her words told of a struggle With a soon to be Ex if only The settlement could be reached And she could get on with her life With a giggle She looked again at me and leaned over To speak to me, letting the top Of her blouse gap open and reveal Creamy tops of breast held in a white lace I smiled as best I could while trying to keep my eyes In appropriate places as she slid over next to me And told the waitress to set up another round We drank and chatted for a while And then the evening ended But not before I was touched By her attention |

Magnificant writing...reminds me of my friend Jesse...everytime we hang out together it seems like he meets another woman...a new love interest...don't hang out with him as much anymore because I have a girlfriend and I find that I am not looking for another...James |

Enjoyed this Ron...felt as though I was sitting right there watching... and it left me with smiling eyes... yes, feels good to have ones ego flirted with. ~Hugs~ ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always |

James: Appreciate your comments my friend. Unlike your friend I rarely meet a woman that pays that much attention to me. Perhaps that is why this was written Sunshine: Yes sometimes that is the best touch Enchantress: glad I could work a bit of magic on the words to take you there SEA: Thank you my friend... nice of you to say... |

Oh, I enjoyed this! Could almost hear the ice cubes clinking in the patrons glasses. Well done. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

I love flirting almost as much as being flirted with...great, as you said, for the ego. The last few poems I've read from you have definetly become favorites. And like JM, wouldn't mind a visit to see lambe myself. Wanna pick up JM and make it a road trip? |

ah yes. . . this is a moment that is almost universal. . . but yet, is wholly yours. . . well done my friend. . . ------------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
