Roses of Blue Roses are given for love, roses are given for friendship. The roses I have kept for you, are the color of heather blue. Sadness overcomes me from deep within, heartache and pain, it is hard to comprehend. There is no more love left,it has all gone away. You took care of that long ago, it seems like just yesterday. We had so many wonderful feelings for each other way back when we were young. Feelings that were true and from the heart, when all was new and life together had just begun. We both agreed that there was no turning back, and so it goes – our marriage was no more. Blue is your color – it matches your eyes. Blue is my heart – I cannot believe any more of your lies. So I picked these roses for you, you know who you are. Take them with you wherever your dreams may carry hold them close, make a wish and may your new road in life be not so weary. |

It's a beautiful poem though sad, I know this feeling but I could never be as generous in even giving the color blue..my roses turned the color of black the day mine left me. You write so wonderfully. M |
