                   "A Hymn to Glory of You"

          I have devoured this enchanted eve
                   with the zeal of an over-seasoned endive
              windows cast wide to the chaste wind

             like putty in your end of the day arms
                  silent kisses witnessed gently like natal days
             men, who have not tread these angel touches
                  shall never traverse these soft rivers
            as lovers who have ne'er pushed aside
            Autumn chilly breezes in a swing seat
            missing those marbled lips mysteries

            oh, but a childish favor I ask without speaking
                 as you wave goodbye each morn
            blowing miss-you-already kisses upon sweet dew
                 and I swear I see stars in your eyes
            like a glittering mirror in sunlight

            tonight, when I return
                 and we dream of Love and Faith and Trust
                       I promise you,
                            you shall never sleep alone
                                   ever again
