Of the color of the robe that commanded
purple dye was extracted from snails...
thousands were demanded
yellow commanded the day
thousands were pacified that way
they worshipped the sun
legions banded
of the crimson red that dots foreheads
royal colors swept nation steads
bleached color was the hue of the Roman populace
and white was a favorite synbolizing purity.

Green would be the shade of astrigence
sandalwood, the tone of incense....
blue would be nobler...subdued
a shade associated with sweetness
grey skies were connected with grief
and black with impending doom
for color..is there any room?
