Why must there be death?
Death is sad.
So why must we bare sadness?
Because nobody can stop death.
Why do people die?
Why must our loved ones die?
It makes me mad.
But nobody can stop death from happening.
Which makes me sad.
All I can say is she is at rest.
But why must we deal with death?
Because Death is part of life.
So we can`t stop the envitable.
That is DEATH.

Cold hands means a warm heart

Your poem did express a lot of emotion that many people feel when faced with the death.

Being new, I am hesitant to offer much in the way of critique, so I will simply state this:  the emotional value of this poem is excellent. There was a lot of repition of the same lines, I found that a tad distracting, but at the same time, it really pushed the point home.  Keep writing! There is great promise in your honest emotional writing

I enjoyed your poem, loner...

Unfortunately, death is a part of life and nobody knows how long their life is going to be...and, thats probably for the best.

Wouldn't you hate to know if you were going to die next week or next month?
But...real sudden death is no fun either.

During the past 3 years, I have lost loved ones in both ways...and having been through that...I think the sudden way is probably worse because of the shock value.

This is always a fair topic to write on as well as the meaning of life, love and hate ....I look forward to seeing you put more questions and answers out in your writes
...and I agree about the sadness, feel mad about this fact of life like you do and realize more and more that life is as we experience it...all that is temporary that is..nice go

Imagine a world where no one died...and
aging was limitless....Would we turn into
a prune at age 305, or what?

Could we feed everyone if there were no
deaths to keep things in balance? Hmmmm?

You have expressed an honest feeling.  Death
is so starkly real....it looms out there
over the horizon for all of us..  And our
memories of those we have loved,  who have
died...continue on until that fateful day..

Welcome to PiP...enjoyed the post...makes
one think...
