Just When I Calm I move like the breeze with never a moment to cease Just some days it's more noticeable to the body then Others, it's there, just less acknowledged to us So, on a roll are how my most days are spent... I become caught up in the moments without the eyes of my usual I lack the visions of your soul ever near But, Lord, just when I calm, I'm flooded with all of you Dad, then it's ever so clear you've been lingering here... Encircled completely by your memory I become weightless to life So weak that reality hits this heart of mine Just when I calm I'm nailed with a persistent ache And, become aware of your absence all this time... Like in slow motion I crawl to our familiar yesterday So hard to make way from the sadness to my feet I become pulled down in the forever that I'll live without you And, drag on consumed in the thoughts of when we'll meet... Just when I calm I'm plagued with what we'll never again be God, I just realized, without you, certainty left me Dad, I run throughout days staying clear of your face Cause, I don't think I can take another fall that waits... I have to close my eyes and soar beyond your soul at night Cause, to find you leaves me crying still beneath sorrow's light Just when I calm and least expect your breeze to flow through I die, once again, when it's speed finds you...
