Never ending is a search as each day fades away for a few moments of peace to soothe a weary soul. When the night comes calling on horizon of silver sky as stardust falls gently down, moonlight fingers reach to earth. In the darkness the white wolf howls on a distant mountainside, to guide a lonely spirit to the coming of the dawn. In sleepy yawn the sunrise paints views of golden and red as Luna slips into the daylight, while tomorrow begins again. The quiet of the morning, spent in wishful thoughts that the world might find peace… the future offers yet another chance. In sleepy clamor the world starts a daily routine never noticing the birds in flight nor the dew drops born of yesterday. Time waves good morning to the approaching day. Sometimes a soul is weeping not for lack of gain, but for all that has been lost. Endlessly a soul is searching~ once again, seeking serenity….. sometimes? serenity is simply sleeping!  This is a lovely poem, and actually, my name is less of a description and more of a GOAL of mine...so I could relate to this very well! Loved it!  |

 (sigh) Seeking serenity can indeed be a lifetime commitment, sweet friend, this is very beautifully heartfelt though also a little sad to see it be a tug-of-war effect on so many!
