You all know the tail of the Chipmunk that roars, she is mightier than the King of the Jungle, chatters words of wisdom flowing like a river of life. A rock of Gibralter, a heart that won't falter, she is Lyra, and she rocks, she rolls, she roars. And tonight she roars with good news. Thanks so much for this poem, Kacy... This chipmunk not only roars and rocks and rolls....tonight she is scampering on air and jumping up and down with happiness. She also ran around all day, hugging and kissing doctors and nurses and technicians and whoever else didn't mind having some chipmunk kisses and hugs.  ~ chipmunk hugs ~  Lyra |

HEY! I'd like some chipmunk kisses and hugs!!!  I am so relieved by all of this! The thought of losing such an interesting target of my poetry was very disheartening! Can I say I love you, Madame C, without your hubby squishing me?  I mean it in a good way....  |

Kacy...I wasn't even wearing a hospital gown......oops! that didn't come out right.. What I meant was that I was wearing my jeans and a shirt.... no hospial gowns involved when I was jumping up and down in the lobby! ~ immodest hugsLyra |
