There is a language known only by sadness.
As moments drip through my thoughts of you
I become the comfortable heartbreak
known solely by lovers whose hearts are still walking behind them.
I have put myself away for now
tucked myself into the sweater drawer of life
because I have been scorched again
by the sunlight and thick material that coveted my heart.
I only have a last shuddering sigh to surrender at the end of the day
when I have blocked all knowledge of loss
and stricken it from the daily routine
of rummaging for all the good memories.
Yes
One last shuddering sigh
that gives in to a day of avoidance
with it
tears and gasping with the strength to make me pull the car over on the way home.
Crying time comes a little unexpectedly these days
and I am neglecting faith in love again.

How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so.

How achingly sad this is

We must not give up faith in love, for love will always be, and the heart will always find a way.

Thank you.

As I have said so many times...this depth of sadness brings out the poetic beauty from a torn heart. The conversion to page though deeply emotional and sad is such a genuine form of expression!
