My Heart’s Haven Dedicated to all Passions Poet’s My 6000 post I’ve felt your fingers touch my face Drunk in the magic of your love’s grace Kissed lips that part in lover’s sigh Flown on dragons as they seared the sky I’ve breathed in your smile with such glee Felt the delight as it caressed me I’ve tasted nectar on your lips I’ve felt the touch of your fingertips I’ve walked paths of tranquillity I’ve looked into dreams of what might be Traced the thoughts you’ve written within I’ve sensed your reasons to deny sin With each day I’ve held you to me Absorbed your thoughts bathed in clarity Your words washing over my soul Sanctified I am once again whole Within your eyes I’ve found my grace In haven’s heart my own special place I’d wandered so lost and alone Missing the reason I had to roam Without an anchor to hold me I’d drifted too far across pain's sea Thank you for showing me the way For giving me a haven to stay Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire Thy coolness and they balm Let sense be dumb let flesh retire Speak through the eathquake wind and fire Oh [This message has been edited by Marsha (06-04-2002 12:25 AM).] |
