UNPREPARED

Purposely holding
for just a moment longer
This under-rated feeling
has left me shaking,
shivering in place.

Touching your skin
is like walking a wire,
I have to keep moving.
Over curves and slants,
I slide effortlessly
across smooth terrain.
Whispering breaths
along your ribcage,
feeling your chest
rise and rise.
I hear you gasp,
signaling the fall
and I guide you
safely down to rest.
Slick and sweet,
your body shines.
Your face red,
your hair disheveled,
{You're so beautiful.}
I can taste the air,
humid and damp,
surrounding us like a fog.
Purposely I hold on
for just a moment longer
because this under-rated feeling
has left me vulnerable and bare.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Kristen, this is such a beautfully bittersweet poem, sweet friend, always follow your heart and I know the time will be right when you are prepared and ytou will be touched by the most beautiful love you deserve so much!
